Terms of Use
Last updated: September 2026
By downloading or using Pocket Piggy, you agree to these terms.
What Pocket Piggy is
Pocket Piggy is a record-keeping app for family chores and allowance. It is a ledger: it tracks what a household has agreed to pay its children. It is not a bank, a payment service, or a financial institution. No real money moves through the app, no account is opened, and no card is issued. Balances shown in the app are your family's own record of what is owed, and paying it is up to you.
Use of the app
Pocket Piggy is for personal, family use. You may not reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the app. You are responsible for the information you enter, including anything you record about your children.
The family unlock
- Pocket Piggy is free to use with one child, including sync across the devices signed in to your own Apple Account.
- Adding more children, or sharing your family with another adult on their own Apple Account, requires a one-time purchase, billed once through the App Store. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- The unlock is tied to your Apple Account and is shared with your household through Family Sharing.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. See our refunds page.
iCloud and syncing
Family Sync uses your own iCloud account and is subject to Apple's terms and to your available iCloud storage. Syncing depends on Apple's services; we cannot guarantee availability, and we are not responsible for data loss caused by iCloud, by device failure, or by deleting the app.
Keeping your own records
Please don't rely on Pocket Piggy as your only record of money owed to your children. Export or write down anything you would be upset to lose.
Intellectual property
Pocket Piggy, its artwork, and its original content are proprietary. All rights reserved. Pocket Piggy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc.
Disclaimer of warranties
Pocket Piggy is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that reminders and notifications will always arrive.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pocket Piggy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any dispute about money owed within a household.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the app after changes are posted means you accept them.
