Two different kinds of app
Pocket Piggy and BusyKid both connect chores with money, but they work in different ways. BusyKid provides a Visa spend card for kids. (as of September 2026; source: busykid.com/busykid-features) Investing is included in every BusyKid account with no upgrade needed. (as of September 2026; source: BusyKid on Google Play)
Pocket Piggy is a chore chart and allowance tracker for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. It doesn't hold money, issue cards or connect to a bank. It keeps a shared record of chores and what kids have earned, and you pay your kids however you already do. Because they work so differently, the right choice depends on what your family is looking for.

- A printable monthly chore chart for the fridge.

Choosing for your family
If your goal is to give a kid real spending money on a card, Pocket Piggy isn't built for that. If your goal is a chore chart the whole family can see, with an allowance that keeps the numbers straight and nothing to link, Pocket Piggy may suit you. It's free for one kid, so you can try it without paying anything. Read more about the chore chart, the allowance features, the Apple TV board and how pricing works. You can also compare prices across several chore apps.
